Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Dangerous delusion Sep 20, 2008 |
The proliferation of books from uneducated, deluded people with a belief that their vision of religion is the only one true religion is the real evil and danger in these times. This myopic belief that Christianity is the only real religion offering "salvation" to the masses through the betrayal, torture and murder of a man who defied the Romans and the Hebrew priests of the time, is a real insight into why our world today is riddled with wars over religion between nations and disparate "churches" everywhere.
This man and 99% of Christians have never turned one page of a book or reference material of any kind having to do with Pre-Christian religions, or with the creation of the Christian religion. Even worse it is apparent he has not made a single effort to understand the beautiful, reverent, benevolent religion he derides in this work of pure tripe. If he had, he would know that Witches do NOT serve any entity called satan, or a devil. In our religion no such entity exists. The purest form of evil exists only in the hearts and minds of man, not in some mythical creation of greedy, manipulative priests and rulers preying on the superstitions and uneducated minds of the peasantry of the time. Witches honor a Goddess and a God, whom we often call a Lord and Lady. We honor Mother Earth and the changing of the seasons as they relate to fertility, abundance and harvest, we believe in birth, death and rebirth. We believe that every living thing is connected in a continuous spiral of life. We believe in a creed of "Harm None", and that we manifest what we think, say or do. We are NOT "Satanists". They are a completely different sect of Paganism. We have respect for your beliefs and your right to believe what you believe. All we ask is that same "respect" in return. There is no right or wrong in how people connect with their Higher Self as long as they do nothing that causes harm to another person, the diverse forms of life here on this planet, or to Mother Earth herself. We have fought no wars in the name of our religion; no one has died in the name of our gods or goddesses. We try to heal where ever possible, protect what we can, teach our children responsibility in their actions and to other people, and that tolerance and respect and acceptance of other peoples lives and ideas are virtues to be practiced no matter what our beliefs are. It is a shame that pious Christians cannot make the same claims.

| This man knows nothing about contemporary witchcraft and those who practice it. He writes from a very narrow fundamentalist christian point of view, which denigrates anyone who disagrees with that viewpoint. Contemporary Pagans and Witches are just like everyone else. We pay our taxes, we send our children to school, we participate in our communities, we vote, we work hard for our candidates, and so forth and so on. However, we don't hate those who disagree with us. We believe that each individual has the right to their own beliefs and practices. But we are just as devastated when we hear of horrible things done by any spiritual believers as anyone else is. And we love and care for each other, just like everyone else. | | | | S.C. | This truly is a man called by God in these last and evil days. I bought this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who has ever dabbled in witchcraft or just for fun went to a seance;or played with a ouija board you have to read this book and some of the others he has written. This truly is a man called by God to be used of God to set free people bound by the dark forces of the enemy who is out to destroy mankind. Please get this book if you want to know the truth. The best lie the devil can use in this day and age is for people to believe that he does not exist and especially in the church. | | | | blind Jul 31, 2007 |
| Just wanted to comment that there is still a great ignorance out there to the fact that witches DO NOT BELIEVE IN SATAN!!!! This is a christian concept! And thanks to books like these there will always be ignorance! | | | | Intriguing topic Sep 10, 2003 |
| Book about those that misuse, twist, and abuse the name of Christ to do the will of Satan. Not just another lame book about how goth kids are devil-worshippers, but rather a call for spiritual discernment on the part of Christians. A must-read for Pentecostalists. | | | Write your own review about Witchcraft In The Pews
