 | Great book! Nov 30, 1999 |
I coupled this book with "What Color is Your Parachute" and learned so much about distinguishing which jobs are best suited for me, as well as how to go about getting those jobs. I learned so much about myself. This was a quick read and the exercises were direct and to the point. You'll learn things about yourself... and you'll get the jobs you want.

| A well written and uplifting book with a simple revelation - work shouldn't be just a job. Take the time to remember your passions in life and seek a way to apply them. | | | | 48 Days to the Work You Love Tops in My Book Nov 30, 1999 |
48 Days to the Work You Love goes beyond the usual variations on the same job search formula to the heart of the reason to seek a vocation, not just another job. After a recent lay-off, when I needed inspiration and motivation as well as up-to-date advice on resumes and interviews, Dan Miller's encouraging words were just what the doctor ordered. I plan to order several copies for high school and college graduation gifts and can confidently recommend 48 Days to friends and family who, for whatever reason, find themselves at career crossroads.

| Although not a silver bullet for "getting a job" it does provide focus and insights into what you should be doing as well as spending your time on in searching for your vovational calling. I recommend this book for one who is trying to find out what they should be doing versus someone who likes their job and is looking for advancement in that field. | | | | Awesome Nov 30, 1999 |
