Michael's Christmas CD is awesome. To hear you sing brings tremendous joy to may heart and my family's heart. Great way to comback by giving this gift of Song in honor of the birth of Jesus. We are so glad you are back where you belong. Your voice on all of the songs is amazing. It's now one of mine and my family's favorite Christmas CD's to play. Fans of Michael English may be taken aback by this recording. Rather than showcasing his pop abilities, this Christmas album is rather laid-back. Many of the basic tracks were produced by long-time friend Michael Sykes (giving it a little more southern gospel feel), and the singing is more reserved than previous efforts. The result is a nice change of pace for English. To give you an idea, his new rendition of "Mary Did You Know" (previously done with synthesizers and drum loops) is done with acoustic guitars and live percussion.
Overall, I think it's a great recording and a fresh sound for Michael English. Sure to be a holiday favorite.

Michael English has come a long way in the past few years. To come out with a Christmas album that celebrates the birth of the Savior is an awesome way to cap off his return to the Christian Music scene.
As all of his work, this will surely inspire and encourage you when you listen.

Michael English is one of the best singers in Christian music. He has entirely his own style, and makes every song his own. This Christmas album will bring joy to your heart, and warm your holidays.

This is an excellent new project from the gifted vocalist. Michael adds his own self described style "english in it". This project combines his powerful voice singing the majority of the songs in an R&B/ jazz style.
The remake of Mary Did You Know is incredible and is actually better the his original release of the song in the 90's.
Other tunes are fan favorites in Silent Night, Go Tell It On The Mountain, O Holy Night, etc.
English fans will be very pleased with this latest effort from English.
