Plus they chose songs that I can only describe as "almost-but-not-quite" hits. There are better choices.
WOW should take CCM Magazine's year-end charts, and release a "top 20" review for every year from 1975 to 1995. That would be a far more satisfying (and accurate) review of the history of Christian music.

Wow Gold has some wonderful music. It does try to represent all genres of Christian music including Stryper's off key "To Hell with the Devil", which I am never in the mood to listen to. A few songs in this set were very popular in their day, but are now just too annoying to listen to no matter how powerful the message. Other songs were highly played contemporary Christian songs that I've memorized by heart and have enjoyed for years.
Wow Gold puts a variety of rock and upbeat songs on disc one and mainly worship songs and power ballads on disc 2. Disk two is my very favorite with songs such as: Easter Song, Praise the Lord, Undivided, and My Tribute. I listen to these heartfelt songs of devotion over and over again. All in all, I give WOW Gold 5 stars for putting the best of the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Playing this CD brings back many memories of my walk with the Lord. If you like classic Christian contemporary music, you'll love this CD. It has music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.

This wonderful two-CD set contains thirty of the greatest Christian songs from the 1970s, 80s and 90s! Everything is here from Rich Mullins' Awesome God to 2nd Chapter of Acts' Easter Song. (Obviously, those are a couple of my favorites!) This is a great CD set that has a little bit of everything, and all of it sounding great. Overall, I found the sound quality to be great, and I love listening to these CDs on my way home from work. They are a great way to recharge my battery and put me in a worshipful mood.
I love this CD set, and give it my highest recommendations!

Talk about the compilation of a lifetime! Some of the best contemporary Christian music (CCM) of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s can be found on this two-CD, 30-song compilation.
From Larry Norman's original 1972 Christian rock rallying cry "Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music?" to Dallas Holm & Praise's two-year chart topping song "Rise Again" to the absolutely delicious 1997 gospel-rock (there is no other way to classify this song) collaboration song "Stomp" by God's Property and Kirk Franklin, just about every CCM style out there is represented by the best of the best here.
In the mood for some good, old nostalgia? You're covered here with 1974's "Easter Song" by 2nd Chapter of Acts, and 1985's "Undivided" by First Call, as well as Keith Green's "You Put This Love In My Heart" and Russ Taft's first number one hit "We Will Stand."
There are many, many more songs on this compilation worth reliving. From the older "Phil Keaggy" to the newer "dc Talk," there is something for everyone. Make sure your collection contains these best of the best.
